I am now taking chemo therapy every week. I get 3 big infusions which take 4 hours to drip, every 3 weeks which really knock me for a loop for about a week. Then I get one single one every week which isn't so bad and I actually can get off of the couch or the bed to get caught up on my work. My creativity has taken a rest too.
When this is all over I am going to start enjoying life again and take my life back over. Spring won't be too far off now.
I think the hardest part of this wasn't the mastectomy but losing my hair. It is coming out in clumps now and it won't be long before I am bald. My wonderful church family of ladies gave me a hat party and I have enough hats to wear for every occasion. My sister took me wig shopping so I won't be a total blitz when it happens.
Thank you all for the sweet comments.
Jackie
All of you ladies out there over 40 please go take your mammograms. It can be caught early. And for those of you younger do your self exams. Thrive....I'm gonna be a SURVIVOR
